My first *REAL* blog post

You’d think that being a programmer, web-designer, and all around techie that I’ve have gotten on the blog bandwagon a little bit faster …

Anyway, if you’re at the site, you’ve probably heard me on a recent teleseminar, found me through someone else’s promotion, or you’re just plain lucky ;-)

If you’re familiar with my story, I’ve been pretty lucky in the Internet Marketing field since 1998, but you also know I’ve been incredibly stupid.

Up until now I haven’t run my “own” opt-in list. Sure, we have lists of over 300,000+, and have cycled over 1.2 million people through those lists since 1998, but we did things a little different. We were one of the first companies to offer solo mailings, and with paid ads going out to our lists almost daily, we never had the time to really let people know who we are, but we’ve decided to change that.

( when I say we, I mean my wife Jennifer Ambrose and I )

Our entire business model is changing, and this is the first visible sign of it from my end. I also just started my very own opt-in list, and in the month or so I’ve been building it I already gathered about 3,000 subscribers. If you’re one of them, welcome ;-)

If you want to subscribe, just send an email to blog ( a t ) gary.emailaces.com and you’ll be added to my personal opt-in list. I know I should really have a subcribe form on the site … and trust me .. it’s coming. ( and, obviously change the ( a t ) to the @ sign ;)

Thanks for reading, and please, check back soon …
