The power of the followup …

Hello again,

Yup, it’s been a while since you’ve seen anything new from me …

I’ve actually been very busy this past month, although I know that it doesn’t seem that way by looking at the progress of this blog. :-(

Just about a month ago Mike Filsaime launched his Butterfly Marketing course … and I was the top affiliate! I pulled in almost $100,000 in commissions on just that one promotion, and when I get the time, I’m going to put something together to let you know exactly how I pulled it off …

But for now, I want to let you know what I’ve been up to this past month …

As I just mentioned, I was the top affiliate for Butterfly Marketing, and as a special “thank you” to some of our customers, we invited everyone out to join us for dinner down here in Orlando.

Originally we’d planned on taking a group of 10 or so people out to Ruth’s Chris steakhouse for dinner, but when more than 30 people showed up … we had a change of plans and ended up going to the Outback.

I can’t complain … that Bloomin’ Onion really hit the spot. ;-)

Here are a few pictures from dinner that night …

Gary Ambrose

Yup, that’s John Reese sitting down for dinner with us … he actually pulled up in his $200,000 Lamborghini and gave one of our guests a ride to dinner.

Now I really did enjoy that Bloomin’ Onion, but there was something else I liked even more. As Mike’s top affiliate, I brought home more that just a big payday …

My New Rolex

That’s a picture of Mike handing me a brand new, $5,000 Rolex watch as a gift for being his top producing affiliate. Not too shabby, huh?

If you’d like to join me for dinner, I’ll be speaking at a few, carefully selected, events this year … and I’ll be sure to let you know about them when the time comes, just don’t expect me to hand you a Rolex. ;-)

Alright, getting back on track, you you might be wondering how any of this ties into the name of this post, “The power of the followup” … don’t worry, I’m getting there.

Just about a month before the Butterfly Marketing launch, I was actually the top affiliate for another product … and a large part of my success with both promotions was in … you guessed it, followup!

Look, I know this isn’t exactly rocket science, and I know you’ve heard that doing a followup to a successful campaign is a good idea … but hardly anyone does it!

Now these aren’t exact numbers, but about 35% of my sales for Butterfly Marketing, and over 60% of my sales on that other product came as a direct result of my followups. Again, this isn’t an exact number, but between just those 2 followups, I earned an additional $45,000.

That’s right … I sent another email, to people who had already heard my offer, and those two emails generated me an additional $45,000 or so in profit. Needless to say, if you’re seeing success with a promotion, it’s going to be worth your while to do a followup.

Now I know what a lot of you are thinking …

“That sound’s great, but I don’t have an autoresponder. Actually, I don’t even have a list!”

Hang tight … I wish I could give you more details now, but if you’re one of those people, you’re going to want to keep an eye on your email over the next month.

Like I said, I can’t really tell you what it’s all about right now, but I’m going to be launching a brand new service that’s going to help you with both of those problems … and more!

This new service has been in development for about the past 6 months, and everytime I talk to someone in my inner circle about it, they’re absolutely blown away. One of them has actually been sending me an instant message, every night, bugging me to get this thing done so they can start using it …

So if you don’t have a list … just give me about a month and I promise I’ll help you out.

If you can’t wait that long, and need a list right away, I’d suggest you check out one of my most popular sites … Your Lucky List

That site has grown to almost 40,000 members in 6 short months, and it just keeps on growing.

Anyway … that’s all for now.

Thanks & Good Luck,
Gary Ambrose

P.S. Don’t forget to check out Your Lucky List.
