He didn’t ask me first … and that may have been a Big Mistake!

Hello again,

A couple days ago I let you know about Michael Cheney’s “11 Days To List Profits” videos … congratulations if you saw the value, and picked them up.

Those same “congrats” apply … even if you didn’t pick them up through my link. ( Although, I’d have liked you to use my link of course ;-) )

I’m posting this for a reason.

You see, Michael just made a move that may be a mistake on his part … something that I think could cost him a lot of money for many months to come if my experience is the same as his.

He just decided to give everyone who purchases “11 Days To List Profits” two additional bonuses.

Wait … before you say, “Big deal Gary, nice try“. Let me explain, then … I think you may agree.

I’m not going to insult your intelligence … you and I both know that offering another “downloadable” bonus has little negative impact on someone’s bottom line.

Actually, in many cases adding a bonus can dramaticallyincrease conversion rates … improving the bottom line for the seller.

So, on the surface, Michael’s adding 2 more bonuses for all his buyers looks like a great move … both for him and of course, for the buyer too.

The buyer gets more content, his cost is almost nothing for the additional bonuses, and the conversion rates on the site increase … that’s a “win-win-win”.

But did you notice I highlighted the word “downloadable” in quotes up there?

Offering another “downloadable” bonus isn’t going to do Michael any harm … but that’s not what he’s doing.

Back at the beginning of this year I offered a bonus on a product … a bonus similiar to what Michael is doing right now.

That bonus helped to make me the number one affiliate for one of the biggest launches of the year … a feat that many people would love to achieve.

But … it wasn’t all good.

The 6-figure commission I earned was great for me in the short term … but ended up being a major blunder in the long long term. ( well, maybe the “mid-term” )

I haven’t released many new products this year … I did release a few, but nothing I’d consider major.

And, I also haven’t taken as much vacation time as I had planned on.

And this bonus I offered … it was a major contributing factor to both of those problems.

What was that bonus?

Well … before I tell you that, you should know Michael and I didn’t talk before I sent this. Not in email, and not over Skype either …

If we had, I’d have advised him against doing this.

He’s doing the same thing I did, but I think it’s going to cost him a lot more than it did me …

That’s right, Michael Cheney will get on the line, even paying for the call … and spend time working with you and you alone, on your any of your list building problems.

That’s a huge value … amazing even.

But, I think he’s going to regret it.

You see, although I don’t know Michael Cheney as well as I’d like to … we have met in person, and we’ve spoken on the phone a few times.

From those conversations … I picked up that he shares a key value with me.

He loves to overdeliver.

Now that’s not going to be a problem for you … but for him, it’s an entirely different story.

You see, the thing I realized when I got on the line for my one-on-one personal consultations is that it’s more than easy to lose track of time … especially when you really love what you do.

And, it’s even easier to lose track of time when you can hear the excitement … and the desire to succeed in the voice of the person on the other end of the line.

To make a long story short … I spent more than triple the amount of time on the phone than I expected.

I don’t regret it, but it did hurt my progress on a lot of projects.

I was spending 5 to 6 hours a day on the phone … when I’d only planned on spending 1 or 2.

I have a feeling Michael’s going to be in the same boat because, he’s a lot like me when it comes to overdelivering, and helping people succeed.

His natural action is to overdeliver, and like me, he almost can’t help but keep on talking when he can feel that he’s really helping to change someone’s life.

I can’t guarantee this of course, but if I were a betting man, I’d put a good amount of money on him spending a lot more time on the phone than he expects to.

And that’s why I’m sending this to you now …

It’s about 3am, and I think that when Michael wakes up he’s going to wonder what he’s gotten himself in to …

So, I wanted to make sure you heard about this now.

    1.you are a sensitive and good person with a lot of baggage that you keep dragging around.
    2.the first time I heard you speak I stopped what I was doing and listened, really listened. You have a god given gift for “coming across” to the people.
    3.I don’t know if you are all playing a game and mixing people’s lives up or not–but if I am going to be scammed AGAIN–I would like it to be you.
    4.”the woman’s crazy” …he says.
    5. are we not all a little crazy. There is a part of us that keeps hoping that this world all makes sense. That some good will come out of our mistakes.
    6.all my life, I wanted to make something of myself. I have achieved much good from family,
    friends, etc. but, I want to be able to do more and I don’t know if this is the way to do it. I have been “working the internet” for over a year, now, tried a few things and promptly, knew that this program is not what is going to give it to me. I have been scammed by people and I don’t believe you will take advantage of me, if I say I still kinda blieve in you and a few others.
    7.you are right about Michael, he would like to do it one on one but that is impossible. Therefore, people like me are never going to get it. My job included using the computer and our medical system is not helpful in trying to make a living on the internet. I knew that system inside and out but I have not got one iota of what the hell you are talking about (at times).
    8.keep on trucking and you will be remembered as one of the good ones in years to come.
