Wars, Madness, & Empires …

Hello again,
I’m sure that by now, you’ve read Mike Filsaime’s “The Death of Internet Marketing” report …
If you haven’t, where have you been?
I’m sure you’ve heard about it by now … and can only guess that if you haven’t read it yet, the reason you haven’t read it is for some aribtrary reason … something like “I hate Mike“.
If that’s the case … get over it, and give it a read already if for no other reason than to understand what a large part of our market is currently being influenced by.
Alright, getting back on track …
One of the major issues Mike talks about in the report is the problem of too many launches … we’re seeing a number unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
The thing is … most people aren’t seeing the problem correctly, at least in my opinion they’re not.
From what I can tell, most people are complaining about all the product launches because their inboxes are full of emails making offers …
Personally, I don’t think that’s such a bad thing, and it’s not the real problem …
The real problem with all these launches is that we’re seeing a lot of great products getting lost … and in the process, shooting ourselves in the foot, and maybe even hurting the consumer.
There are just too many offers …
As a result, people like me haven’t been able to email as often as we’d like …
But, not for the reason you might think.
If I wanted to send 3 offers a day, I could do it with ease … I’m flooded with “JV” requests and could send probably 5-10 emails a day if I really wanted to.
The problem is really that I’m not able to send out as many pre-launch emails as I’d like … and that’s what really hurts.
But again, not for the reason you might think.
Now look, we’re all marketers here so I’m not going to try to convince you that pre-launch emails aren’t sent to help create buzz …
But, there’s something else they do … They Educate!
You see, the problem with the “product launch madness” isn’t that you can’t really learn what product will be the best fit … For You!
Because there are so many launches, and because you’ll only accept so many emails a day before you click that unsubscribe link … we’re put in a tough spot.
We’d love to send you every pre-launch email, and send you every free report … but in general you will only accept so much email.
For that reason … great products get lost … and in my opinion, that’s the real problem with having so manyproducts launch every week.
Just a few weeks ago, someone we’ll call “Jack” put an amazing course together … perhaps one of the best in terms of offering a true “step-by-step” in years.
He has amazing credentials, students with success as a direct result of following his system … and the list goes on.
But … you didn’t know enough about him. Both he, and his product, got lost in the shuffle.
It’s sad because it’s the kind of stuff I’m constantly seeing people ask for … and “Jack” is a great guy who is truly committed to the success of his students.
You probably didn’t see it though … or at least, you didn’t see it enough.
Product launch madness killed “Jack’s” shot at having a big time launch day… but more importantly it killed something else.
“Jack’s” system was perfect for hundreds of people, but they never saw it … and it killed their chance to get a course that could have been perfect for them.
But, they didn’t have enough information… and weren’t educated on the benefits of the product well enough, at least not well enough to make a confident decision.
In my opinion, that’s the problem with all the launches we’re seeing … which unfortunately leads me to today.
But before getting to that … there’s another problem.
Over the past 2 months I’ve been to a few seminars as a speaker … and while I’ve been at at these events I’ve been doing some talking.
After hours, in the hallway, and at dinner I’ve had the opportunity to talk to a lof of other list owners about all the product launches … and found I’m not alone in regards to this second, disturbing problem.
I’ve had this conversation with at least 5 other people over the past few months … and it looks like it’s going to get worse.
The conversation goes something like this …
Are you promoting ‘Product X’?
I’d love to, it’s a great product, and a lot of people on my list would probably benefit from it, but no.
Let me guess … bonus war?
Yup. The product is good, and has some great new stuff in it, but I just can’t get caught up in the bonus war.
I know. I feel the same way.
It sucks, because I know it’d probably really help some people on my list, but I just can’t.
They don’t want to get caught up in “bonus wars”, and as a result … you never heard about, or even learned about some of the best products this year.
Which leads me back to today …
About 3 weeks ago Paul Smithson, of “XSitePro”, gave me a call on the phone …
He’d been trying to get in touch with me a couple weeks before that … but we kept missing each other.
To be totally honest, I wasn’t exactly making myself as easy to reach as I could have been, because I knew what I was in for …
Another “JV” request.
And, Paul actually got lucky … I actually thought the number on my caller-id was someone else’s, otherwise it never would have been answered.
When Paul introduced himself, my first thought was, “Oh crap … now he’s got me” …
I’m glad he did.
Paul’s new “Build An Empire” system is truly unlike anything I’ve ever seen released …
Unfortunately, that’s probably a bad thing.
The reason I say it’s a bad thing is because I couldn’t get you the pre-launch emails … which means you didn’t have a chance to learn all about it … which means you probably won’t see the huge potential in it that I do.
Paul and I spoke for about 2 hours that night, and after that conversation ( a conversation completely free of any sales pitch by the way ) I was seeing the possibilities.
But … it took nearly 2 hours, and this may be the first time you’re hearing about it.
You’re not “educated” when it comes to this system, the multi-billion dollar market, the immense amount of work that went into it, the legal hurdles that were cleared, and everything else that goes along with it.
And … that’s sad. Sad because there will be many of you who don’t, and will never get the chance, to understand exactly how powerful this really is, and just how profitable it could be.
Can you imagine being able to sell audio books, but not just any book … books that are currently in the top 10 on the New York Times, and Amazon best seller lists?
In just the business field, you’ll have access to titles like The Long Tail,”The 8th Habit, Good To Great, E-Myth, Blink, and more … keeping 30% of the sale price, or 600% more than what you’d earn as an Amazon affiliate.
It’s not just business titles either …
Sadly … there’s just no way I can possibly cover everything Paul went over with me on the phone.
And, with the product launch madness, I couldn’t send the 11 part PDF pre-launch series explaining it all.
That being said … I hope you check it out, and I sincerely hope that Paul’s copywriter does a great job. It’s going to take one heck of a sales letter to get you to see the potential that I saw in the system, simply because there’s so much to it.
Unlike the other courses, and systems on the market … this is, and will only be available through Paul’s “Build An Empire” system.
Why?
Well again, I can’t really explain it all, but the short version is that Paul has exclusive, and semi-exclusive rights to distribute these titles. He also had to create a digital rights management and content distribution system that all these multi-billion dollar companies were convinced would properly prevent potential piracy. ( that’s a mouthful )
And, I didn’t even mention the AdSense components, the built-in ability to run an affiliate program of your own, or publish your own audio books instantly to thousands of distributors …
The bottom line here is that “The Death Of Internet Marketing” is a problem.
It’s probably going to cause a good number of you to pass on the “Build An Empire” system, when just a few years ago, you’d have been given the chance to understand the potential well before launch day.
I know this has gotten long … and before it turns from a blog post, into an ebook, I’m going to wrap this up.
For my part, I’m sorry for not getting you all the PDF reports, and properly educating you on most of the products launched over the past year … I’m willing to take some of the blame.
Next year I plan on re-vamping this blog to store some of these PDF reports so that you’ll have a chance to make the right purchases … but for now, this long post is going to have to do it.
Paul’s “Build An Empire” system launches today, and as I said, I just hope his copywriter did a good job. I’d hate to think that product launch madness, and my overbooked calendar, caused one of my readers to miss out on a million dollar opportunity.

Thanks & Good Luck,

P.S. Please post your comments on the blog … I’d love to get your thoughts on “product launch madness”, “bonus wars”, and my take on this whole situation.
P.P.S. If it’s before noon eastern time, Paul’s system isn’t available yet … but his pre-launch “education” is. So, head on over to the site, read up. Don’t let the “madness” get you.
